Fanshawe were appointed as Quantity Surveyor on this unique new build project in Worksop, Nottinghamshire for Wilkinson Hardware Stores’ product designers.
The pod, located adjacent to the Wilkinson Hardware Stores head office, entailed a bespoke glulam beam frame with curved glass panels. Internal areas included workstations for product designers, a meeting area, presentation room and general ancillary office areas. The space incorporated a VRF air conditioning system.
This challenging project was procured using the JCT Intermediate Building Contract with contractor’s design and was constructed in a programme of approximately 8 months.
