Fanshawe were appointed as Quantity Surveyors in 2011 for the refurbishment of this building, having undertaken various feasibility studies on the building since 2004 for various parties.
The works comprised significant demolition works, a completely new facade to the front elevation and the complete restructuring of the internal areas to improve the use of the space and to maximise the net internal floor area. A further rooftop extension was also incorporated into the scheme to increase the net lettable area by approximately 20,000sqft, resulting in an overall net lettable area of approximately 200,000sqft over 8 levels.
